The closest airport is Trondheim Airport, Værnes. Trondheim has decent international connections to Copenhagen (SAS, 2-4 times daily) and Amsterdam (KLM, 3 times daily). There is also very good connections to Oslo, which has a lot more international flights. If you have the option it is generally better to not transfer in Oslo when travelling to Trondheim, since you have to clear customs and recheck you baggage in Oslo. There is a train connection from Værnes to Verdal that leaves every hour on Friday, and every second hour on Saturday and Sunday. More information at NSB. NSB.

It is also possible to rent a car at the Airport. It is about an hour drive From Værnes to Verdal.

The marriage ceremony is at Stiklestad Church in Verdal. The reception is Øyna in Inderøy. The distance between the church and the reception is about 25 km. We will arrange bus transport from the church to the reception, and from the reception back to Verdal for those that are interested.
